Yesterday, the Petar Miloshevski City Stadium was opened in Bitola. On this occasion, ⋮IWConnect organized the first children’s Olympics with the support of Bimilk, Mali Genijalci, and Pela Rosa. About 200 children aged 5 to 10 had the opportunity to participate in four groups of children’s games. The slogan of the Olympics was ” Ај на Олимпијада во Битола,” and the mascot was the lynx Mende from Pelister. The most famous neighborhoods inspired the team names that competed in Bitola, and the winners of the Olympics were the Dovledzik team, who won first place, the Brusnichka team in second place, and the Gorniot Pazar team, who deservedly took third place.
“Bitola is a city where the sports spirit is always nurtured, so organizing a children’s Olympics seemed very interesting and necessary, but it was also challenging. We are proud that, together with the city of Bitola and other companies, we organized a wonderful event that will be discussed for a long time. We would like this to become a tradition, and next year, we expect to organize an even bigger event for a more beautiful Bitola,” said representatives from ⋮IWConnect.
The event occurred on the tennis courts next to the City Stadium and was a true symbiosis of smiles, excitement, and many exciting sports games. Besides the excellent games for children aged 5 to 10, attendees could leave their younger children in the corner under the sponsorship of Little Geniuses, where various activities were organized for children aged 3 to 5 years.
Throughout the event, the children were entertained and cheered on by the singers of the children’s festival Tra la la.
Yesterday, Bitola showed that it is a city of sports and culture and deserves more events of this kind. Together with Mende, Bitola was the most beautiful!
