The Healthcare AI Use Case Readiness Checklist

A 6-point framework our AI Center of Excellence uses to pressure-test whether a healthcare AI use case will reach production, or stall at pilot. One page. No email required.

Why We Built This

Most healthcare AI projects don’t fail because the technology is wrong. They fail because nobody defined what “done” looked like, or because the operational stakeholders who own the workflow weren’t in the room when the use case was scoped.

Our AI Center of Excellence built this checklist from patterns we see across patient access, revenue cycle, and clinical operations work. If you can answer four of the six questions clearly, your use case is ready for a build phase. If you can’t, the gaps are worth closing before you commit to a timeline.

Who It's For

Directors and VPs of Patient Access, Revenue Cycle, Digital Health, and Operations at health systems, specialty groups, and medical practices. Chief Medical Information Officers and Chief Digital Officers who are scoping a healthcare AI initiative and want a sanity check before the build phase starts.

Still at the idea stage?

If you haven’t picked a use case yet, or you want a second opinion on one you’re considering, our AI Center of Excellence offers a 30-minute conversation. We’ll walk through a high-impact use case, name the likely production blockers, and outline what a governed rollout could look like.
