Machine learning (ML) is the science of getting computers to act without being explicitly programmed. It is widely used in effective web search, self-driving cars, speech and text recognition… Machine learning is so pervasive today that we are using it many times a day without even knowing it.

Natural language processing (NLP) is a field of ML concerned with the interactions between computers and human (natural) languages, in particular how to program computers to process and analyze large amounts of natural language data. Challenges in natural language processing frequently are speech recognition, sentiment analysis, natural language understanding, and natural language generation.
