MuleSoft provider of the leading platform for building application networks, organized CONNECT 2017, the premier conference for digital business, where CIOs, IT leaders, and developers came together to discuss how application networks are enabling businesses agility and drive innovation. CONNECT is one of the fastest-growing conferences, with more than 2,500 customers, partners and industry thought leaders across industries attending it. The event took place April 18-20, 2017 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in San Francisco. ⋮IWConnect attended the event with four representatives Elizabeta Memca, Marjan Sterjev, Aleksandar Memca, and Blagojche Rajchinoski. More than 3000 IT managers and developers from around the world were present.
One of the highest points at the event was the announcement of Crowd. As MuleSoft wrote on their blog Crowd features a set of powerful collaboration capabilities that enable the creation, saving, discovery, and reuse of APIs and other integration assets within Anypoint Platform™ to drive new levels of business agility. This Anypoint Platform release introduces significant updates to Anypoint Exchange and the new Anypoint Design Center, making the discovery, promotion, and consumption of composable IT assets, such as APIs and best practice templates, both easier and more natural for users of the platform. Through this Anypoint exchange companies can save, discover, and reuse secured IT assets quickly in order to build an app network for their organization.
The event itself was a great experience including a lot of attendants from around the world. MuleSoft management and their key customers were all there and our partners Integration Matters were sponsoring the event so we were mostly present at their booth.
Despite the technical presentations, the event offered a lot of time for hanging out and getting social with visitors by organizing parties and gigs after hours.
All in all, we had a great time and we felt comfortable and connected at Connect17. Our experience was so good that we are going to the MuleSoft summit in Amsterdam organized on May 16th along with our partners Integration Matters, so you can feel free to meet with us there.
