Autumn is all about conferences, machine learning, big data and of course harnessing the energy saved up over the summer. Speaking of conferences, our very own Cvetanka Eftimoska will be a speaker at the Belgrade Data Science Conference in Serbia. She’ll be addressing the topic of ‘Using Semarchy for Master Data Management.’
In this article, get to know her a bit more and learn about what she will be discussing at the DSC in Belgrade.
Who is Cvetanka?
I am a proud mother of a six-year-old daughter, and I’m deeply passionate about data. I’ve been immersed in the world of data for seven years now. Currently, I work at ⋮IWConnect as a part of the data management team, and in my free time, I enjoy being in nature, traveling, or reading novels.
We’re thrilled to have you as a speaker at the upcoming DSC in Belgrade! Could you give us a sneak peek into the topic you’ll be presenting and explain why it’s relevant in today’s data-driven world?
Efficiently managing customer information is an increasingly challenging task for companies with a large customer base. Customers rightfully expect swift and effective service, but this becomes a daunting challenge when vital customer data is scattered across numerous applications. Without centralizing this information, customer management processes often rely on fragmented, incomplete, or outdated data, which can significantly impact a company’s performance, affecting both cost efficiency and customer loyalty.
Now, envision a scenario where all your customer data resides in one centralized location. No more searching for accurate information, no more sifting through local data, or navigating various systems to find the latest updates – everything you need is readily available in one place. How to harness the power of Semarchy for Master Data Management and how that can bring us closer to realizing this vision, will be the topic that I’ll be covering. We will delve into the mechanics of Semarchy for Master Data Management and explore its potential in revolutionizing customer data management, thereby enabling businesses to offer superior customer service and optimize operational efficiency.
As someone deeply involved in the field of data science, what advice do you have for aspiring data scientists or those looking to enhance their data analytics skills?
Focus on building a strong foundation in statistics, programming, and data manipulation. Work on real projects to apply your skills, stay updated with the latest developments, and prioritize effective communication to convey insights.
Belgrade is renowned for its vibrant tech community. What are you most looking forward to at the conference, and do you have any tips for attendees on how to make the most of their experience?
I’m most excited about the diverse range of presentations and networking opportunities at the conference. To make the most of the experience, attendees should plan their schedule in advance, prioritize sessions that align with their goals, and actively engage in discussions and networking sessions to connect with fellow professionals and gain valuable insights from their peers. Additionally, don’t forget to explore any interactive exhibits or workshops to enhance your learning and conference experience.
Join us at the conference in Serbia, Belgrade and be inspired by Cvetanka’s insights. Don’t miss the chance to delve into the world of data management and customer excellence. See you there!
