Blagojche has grown and evolved with the company, embracing new challenges and opportunities to become an integral part of our team. How did your career start and evolve in ⋮IWConnect?
I freshly graduated from college full of enthusiasm and I did know one thing for sure: I wanted to pursue a career in IT. I was thinking about taking a master’s education first, but then a friend of mine told me about an open position in ⋮IWConnect (Intersoft Consulting at the time) and I decided to take a shoot and postpone my master’s studies. I remember hoping that I would fit in with the team and thinking how professional the training was-It was well structured and intensive. I had a feeling that this company could provide me with the career I wanted. So, here I am now.
You are celebrating 15 years as part of ⋮IWConnect. How was this journey for you?
I‘ve been here for 15 years but somehow it has passed quickly. 15 years ago, I was very young, and I was very fortunate to start working for this fast-growing company and most importantly alongside the right people. My career journey in the company includes constant growth and opportunities to evolve which have helped me become the professional I am today.
Can you please share a story about something that you consider the worst failure?
There have been ups and downs over the last 15 years but I’m still here because I believe in this company. There are a few lessons I’ve learned along the way:
- Always look at the long-term win;
- Consider everything as an opportunity;
- Valve yourself and respect others.
Also, I was fortunate to have found my way in a company where employees are allowed to make mistakes because that is how they learn. In the process of learning and evolving mistakes are just a common part of the journey, and I am lucky to have found a company that accepts that.
What is one thing that kept you part of ⋮IWConnect for so long?
Pleasant working environment & the people I work with. I was lucky to work alongside colleagues that have become my friends. That combined with the opportunity to constantly grow and learn something new, the great working atmosphere and the excellent work conditions are keeping me here.
