The world is moving at a rapid pace and technology advances with the same pace. IT, coding and programming is getting more and more popular. This is a reason why every year, starting from 2013 there is a EU Code Week devoted to spreading the word about coding in primary and secondary school.
As Alessandro Bogliolo, coordinator of the EU Code Week team of ambassador volunteers said:
“From the beginning of time we did many things using stone, iron, paper and pencil that have transformed our lives. Now we live in a different era where our world is moulded in code. Different eras have different jobs and skills demand. During Code Week we want to give every European the opportunity to discover coding and have fun with it. Let’s learn coding to shape our future”.
This year, EU Code Week happened between 6 and 21 October and we decided to take a part of it. Three of our developers decided to share their story about coding, fun facts and interesting things. We believe that we motivated and inspired the children in the primary school just a bit to continue their education in the programming profession.
