When I was growing up, I was interested in Mathematics. My father was part of a project for designing the water supply installation in my hometown. I remember how he used to draw everything on paper and I was curious and wanted to know everything. Then, I saw all the calculations, how everything is drawn based on those calculations and started to love math. In this period, he had an accident and broke his arm – so I had to help 😊 I remember how carefully I held the ruler and I followed the process curiously.
I got my first computer when I was 10 years old. Back then, I used the computer only for playing games. After a while, I installed AutoCAD – a software application that is used for drawing digital 2D and 3D designs. My desire back then was to work as an architect, until I started high school 😊. I enrolled in a high school as part of a bilingual class (we attended classes in French and Macedonian) with Math as my major subject and then I came across programming in Pascal. Many of my classmates were confused, but I liked the subject and I decided that I will study Computer Science.
I started my studies in Bitola and after the first year, I started attending an Academy for Programming in C++ and Mathematics – including algorithms in MATLAB. The Academy was divided into three parts and lasted for 2 years. I enjoyed learning new things and getting better at programming and mathematics.
And now, I love working with data. Why? When used properly, data can give businesses all the answers they need regarding inventory, processes, marketing, sales cycles, and so much more. Data is spread everywhere and it’s growing day by day. It is very interesting to analyze the data and gain insights from it. I just enjoy it a lot.
In my free time, I like reading books. My favorite book is “Les Misérables” – Victor Hugo. Also, I have a daughter and I try to spend as much time as I have with her. After work, we are all at home and we like to cook together and gather for dinner.
