Since I was a little kid, I was fascinated by technology. Back then, we did not have smartphones or touchscreens. Computers had just become widely available for the households and every one of us had their first contact with the computer in primary school. We started exchanging games that later transitioned into software exchange (remember BUG magazine? ). My curiosity about breaking and fixing things quickly made me the ‘go-to’ guy in my neighborhood for every computer-related problem, from setting up printers to completely reinstalling an OS. This has probably influenced my educational path – I got more and more interested in math and logic and everything computer-related.

I had а great math teacher in primary school, Slavko Shtakovski, that even though at the time I thought that I was being ‘tortured’ (didn’t we all? ), taught me a great deal about math and solving problems. In high school, this has translated to getting higher scores in math and physics than in sociology or philology. This led to me choose the natural sciences path in high school and later enroll in the Institute of Informatics at the Natural Sciences University in our country.

It was a tough path but, in the end, I ended up in a wonderful company with the job I love.

In my free time, I try to make the most of it by staying active and spending quality time with family. And when I want to relax, I want to listen to music like electric or acoustic guitar. I am on skis since I was 3 years old and at one point, I was representing my country in the FIS Alpine European Championships. In the summertime, I mostly play tennis (newfound love) and run 5k’s or 10k’s. When not trying to lose weight, I’d like to pick up a good book and lately have been hooked on Jo Nesbo’s ‘Harry Hole’ series.
